Our family recently explored the wonders of Nkanda, and the experience was truly memorable. The trekking through Mgahinga Park was an adventure, allowing us to see not only gorillas but also playful golden monkeys, adding a delightful twist to our journey. The meals provided were hearty and delicious, offering a taste of local flavors that kept us energized for our daily excursions. One minor suggestion would be to include more guidance on the different trails, as we occasionally felt a bit unsure of what to expect. Overall, the combination of wildlife encounters and beautiful scenery made for an unforgettable trip that we would highly recommend to fellow families.

Experiencing the gorillas up close in Mgahinga Park left us in awe, especially during the quiet moments when we could just observe their behavior in the wild. Our nights spent in Nkanda were cozy and allowed us to recharge for the next day’s golden monkey tracking, though a bit more variety in the meals would have enhanced the overall experience.
Spending three days trekking through the breathtaking landscapes of Nkanda in Uganda was an unforgettable experience. The highlight for me was the exhilarating moment I caught sight of the majestic gorillas; it felt surreal to observe them in their natural habitat. I stayed at a cozy lodge, where the friendly staff made me feel right at home after long days of tracking. The golden monkeys added an unexpected charm to my adventure, and watching them play was a joyful surprise. One suggestion I have is to include more detailed maps for solo travelers, as navigating the trails can be a bit tricky. Overall, this journey left me with memories that I will cherish forever.
