Depart from Istanbul and cross the intercontinental bridge connecting Europe and Asia, symbolizing Türkiye’s unity. Arrive in Ankara, the nation’s capital, and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time to explore or rest before dinner.

– Ankara → Salt Lake → Cappadocia

After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, home to one of the world’s finest collections of ancient Anatolian artifacts. Continue to Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Later, embark on a scenic drive through Central Anatolia, stopping by Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü) for breathtaking photos, before arriving in Cappadocia. Visit one of the region’s fascinating underground cities before checking in to your cave-style hotel.

– Cappadocia

Today is dedicated to discovering Cappadocia’s natural and cultural treasures. Visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, featuring ancient rock-cut churches with stunning frescoes, and enjoy panoramic views from Uçhisar Castle. Continue to the Devrent Valley, famous for its animal-shaped rock formations, and explore local artisan workshops where traditional pottery and carpets are still made.

– Cappadocia → Istanbul

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel or continue with your onward journey.

Highlights: Anıtkabir (Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey), Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.
Culture: A modern, political, and historical city. Standard urban etiquette applies.

🍄 Cappadocia: The Land of Fairy Chimneys

Highlights: Hot Air Balloon Rides, Underground Cities (Derinkuyu/Kaymaklı), Goreme Open-Air Museum, Valley Hikes (Pigeon, Love, etc.).
Terrain: The region features soft volcanic rock and valleys. Walking surfaces are often uneven, dusty, or slippery.
Activities:
Balloon Flight: This is weather-dependent and typically takes place very early in the morning (before sunrise). Dress warmly!
Cave Dwellings: Be prepared for narrow passages and lower temperatures inside the underground cities and rock-cut churches.

🍽️ Local Cuisine (Central Anatolia)

Deneyin (Must Try): Testi Kebabı (Meat and vegetables slow-cooked in a sealed clay pot), local Anatolian wines, and Mantı (Turkish dumplings).
