We were captivated by the charm of the coastal town and its vibrant history as we wandered through the old fort. Visiting the hatchery was a highlight, as we learned about the conservation efforts for these beautiful creatures. While the boat ride through the scenic waterways was serene, the time spent waiting to board took away from the overall experience a bit.

Our family had an incredible day filled with memorable moments, especially during the wildlife encounters at the hatchery. While the boat ride was peaceful and offered stunning views, we did wish for a bit more time to soak in the beauty of our surroundings.

Exploring the southern coast of Sri Lanka with our family was a delightful adventure. One unforgettable moment was at the turtle hatchery; seeing the tiny hatchlings scurry to the ocean felt like witnessing a miracle. The Maduganga boat ride was also a treat, with lush greenery surrounding us as we glided through the waterways. Our transportation was comfortable, but the long drive from Negombo did feel a bit stretched at times. We came away with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation for Sri Lanka’s natural beauty.

Exploring the turtle hatchery and sailing through Maduganga’s waters offered a lovely glimpse into the local culture and nature, though the transportation to Galle felt a bit rushed at times.
