Wandering through the colorful streets of Salvador in Brazil was truly captivating, especially when we stumbled upon the stunning Elevador Lacerda, which provided breathtaking views of the bay. We spent a delightful moment in the Mercado Modelo, tasting local snacks while the vibrant atmosphere buzzed around us, filled with the sounds of artisans and musicians. The historical architecture around Pelourinho was mesmerizing, and we found ourselves lost in the intricate details of the churches and colonial buildings.
Although our guide was informative, there were moments when we wished for a bit more time to linger in certain spots, especially at the Museu de Arte da Bahia, where the art seemed to tell stories of the city. The blend of history, culture, and lively energy made this tour memorable for our family. Overall, it was a wonderful way to connect with Salvador’s rich past while enjoying the vibrant present.
