We set off from Sapa, excited to explore the vibrant Bac Ha Market and take a leisurely boat ride along the Chay River. The market was a sensory overload, with colorful textiles, local produce, and the lively banter of vendors creating an authentic cultural experience we really cherished. Gliding on the river offered a peaceful contrast, where we admired the stunning landscapes and the unique way of life of the local people. One minor drawback was the tour’s pacing; we felt a bit rushed at the market and wished we had more time to soak it all in. Overall, this day trip beautifully showcased the heart of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, making it a memorable adventure for us as a couple.

Exploring Bac Ha Market was a vibrant experience, with locals selling everything from fresh produce to colorful textiles. We appreciated the chance to immerse ourselves in the local culture, and the atmosphere was lively, though it did get a bit crowded at times, making it hard to navigate. Afterward, the Chay River boat ride offered a serene contrast, gliding past stunning landscapes that felt like stepping into a postcard. The only drawback was that the boat ride felt a bit short, leaving us wanting more time on the water. Overall, this day provided a wonderful balance of bustling market life and peaceful nature, a nice escape from our busy schedules in Sapa.
