The safari through Udawalawa in Sri Lanka was an exhilarating experience for our family, where we were thrilled to witness majestic elephants roaming freely in their natural habitat; however, the bumpy ride made it a bit challenging for our younger ones.

Our group had such a blast on the safari, especially when we spotted a herd of majestic elephants bathing by the watering hole—truly a breathtaking moment. The guide was knowledgeable, sharing insights about the park’s ecosystem, but we did wish the vehicle had a bit more shade since it got pretty hot out there. Overall, it was an exhilarating experience that brought us all closer to nature and each other!
