Ephesus is Europe’s most complete classical metropolis. Your visit to this ancient city will take you a time travel.
The shrine has merited several papal Apostolic Blessings and visits from several popes including Paul VI, John Paul II, and Benedict XVI.
The mosque is situated on the outskirts of the Ayasluğ Hills at Selçuk, İzmir.
By 1829, the mosque was in ruins and by 1842 the minaret had fallen down. In the 19th century, it was also used as a caravanserai. There is an octagonal Seljuk türbe made of stone and bricks, with a pyramid shaped roof, right next to the mosque.
It was reputedly the tomb of John the Apostle, the cousin and early disciple of Jesus who is thought to have written the Gospel of John on the site. It became the main settlement of Ephesus after the ancient town declined after the 7th century, following the onset of the Arab–Byzantine wars.

After breakfas we will drive to Pamukkale. It will take around 3 hours drive with short breaks.
Hierapolis was a tourist center with its hot springs. The hot springs have been used as a spa since at least the 2nd century BC, with many patrons retiring or dying there as evidenced by the large necropolis filled with tombs, most famously that of Marcus Aurelius Ammianos, which bears a relief depicting the earliest known example of a crank and rod mechanism, and the Tomb of Philip the Apostle. It was added as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
Pamukkale, meaning "cotton castle" in Turkish, is a natural site. It is located in Turkey's Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, which has a temperate climate for most of the year. People have visited the area for thousands of years, due to the attraction of the thermal pools.
After the visit ends we will drop you to the airport and you will fly back to Istanbul.
Upon your arrival to the airport we wil meet you and transfer back to the hotel. End of our service

We had an unforgettable experience immersing ourselves in the rich culture and history that this journey offered. The accommodations were comfortable and well-located, though a bit more time at each site would have enhanced our exploration.

The cultural immersion we experienced on this journey was truly remarkable, especially in Ephesus, where the historical significance of the ruins came alive. Our stay in a charming boutique hotel in İstanbul added an exclusive touch, making the transition between the ancient and modern worlds seamless. One suggestion would be to include more time for relaxation at Pamukkale, as the natural thermal pools offer a perfect complement to the vibrant history we explored.

Exploring the ancient ruins of Ephesus was a highlight for me, as the historical significance truly resonated during the tour. While the accommodations were comfortable and well-located, an earlier start on the second day would have allowed for a more relaxed experience soaking in the beauty of Pamukkale.

As a solo traveler, I found the two-day adventure to be a fantastic way to delve into the rich cultural tapestry of this remarkable region. The accommodations were comfortable and welcoming, providing a perfect respite after days filled with exploration and discovery. I was particularly captivated by the breathtaking limestone terraces, which seemed to glow under the sun, creating a surreal landscape that felt almost otherworldly. The guided visits to the historic sites were insightful, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn about the stories and significance behind each location. My only suggestion would be to allow a bit more free time for wandering and soaking in the surroundings at my own pace. Overall, this tour was a wonderful mix of culture, history, and stunning natural beauty that I won’t soon forget.

From the moment we departed, the journey unfolded with a seamless blend of history and natural beauty, far exceeding our expectations. We were particularly captivated by the ancient ruins, where the stories of the past came alive through our knowledgeable guide, who shared fascinating insights that we hadn’t encountered in our research. The culinary experience also stood out; we savored local dishes that showcased the region’s vibrant flavors, and each meal was a delightful exploration of taste. One highlight was a stunning natural wonder that left us utterly speechless, as we soaked in the ethereal beauty around us. However, a little more time to explore the local markets would have enhanced our experience even further. Overall, this trip offered a unique glimpse into the culture and history of the area, making it a memorable escape for us as a couple. We returned to our daily lives with a renewed sense of appreciation for the rich tapestry of experiences we had shared.
