About This Tour

This tour takes you through the stunning Troodos Mountains, the highest mountain range in Cyprus, where you’ll breathe in fresh mountain air and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. One highlight is the Venetian Bridge — a beautiful 16th-century stone bridge built during the Venetian period, perfect for photos and peaceful moments by the flowing river.

We’ll also visit a charming local winery, where you can sample a variety of wines, including the famous Zivania and Commandaria. At the Northwest observation viewpoint, take in majestic views of the Troodos slopes stretching all the way to Morphou Bay.

Next, explore the Milomeris Waterfall, nestled in a lush valley surrounded by tall trees and wildflowers. You can dip into the natural pool or simply relax and soak up the beauty of this peaceful spot.

The tour finishes in Omodos village, a tranquil mountain retreat known for its wine-making and orchards. Here, you’ll visit the historic Monastery of the Holy Life-Giving Cross, one of Cyprus’s oldest and most culturally significant monasteries.

Tour Plan

Paphos - pick-up

Tzelefos Venetian Bridge
The Tzelefos Venetian bridge has one arch, is made of stone, and is 30m long and 3.2m wide.  It also has a height of 6m over the river below and notes that even uprooted trees from the gushing waters of the river do not get stuck under it.

Lambouri Winery
Lambouri wines are made from local grape varieties grown in the best grape region of the island, zone A, on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountains.

Northwest Observation View Point
This spot allows visitors to enjoy the majestic views of the Troodos slopes, all the way to the bay of Morphou.

Troodos Square - time for rest and lunch
In Troodos Square, you can buy various souvenirs, traditional sweets, all kinds of rose products, dried fruits (no added sugar), drinks, clothes, shoes and whatever you want!

Milomeris Waterfall
The waterfall is hidden inside the mountain and the whole area around it is wet, the water of the waterfall is a “cold” river, which is the highest waterfall in Cyprus.

Omodos Village
The village of Omodos is located at an altitude of 810 meters above sea level, so even at the height of summer it is cool here. The pride and adornment of Omodos is the monastery of the Holy Life-Giving Cross. This is one of the oldest monasteries in Cyprus, of great cultural and historical significance.

Our family set out on a leisurely adventure, intrigued by the promise of discovering the charm nestled within the mountains. We were particularly enchanted by the breathtaking views from a scenic viewpoint, where the rolling hills stretched endlessly and the air felt refreshingly crisp. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing fascinating stories that brought the landscape to life, though at times, the pace felt a bit rushed, leaving us yearning for a few extra moments to soak it all in. We also appreciated the charming local market, filled with handmade crafts and tempting treats, which added a lovely personal touch to the day. Overall, it was a fulfilling experience that brought us closer together while soaking in the natural beauty surrounding us.
