Sampling the local cuisine became a highlight of our journey, especially during a memorable evening in a rustic eatery where we savored handmade pasta and local wines. While the accommodations were charming and comfortable, we found some parts of the itinerary felt a bit rushed, making it hard to truly soak in all the historical treasures we encountered.
