Our day trip to Curve Lake was a fantastic way to dive into the rich heritage of the First Nation community. We particularly loved visiting the lovely community center where the local artisans showcased their work; it was inspiring to see their creativity firsthand. The only thing we wished for was a bit more time to explore the surrounding nature trails, as the lake views were simply breathtaking.

We had an incredible day immersing ourselves in the local traditions and stories of the community. The highlight for us was sharing a meal by the serene waters, where we learned about the significance of the lake to the people living there—such a unique experience! If there’s one little suggestion, it would be to have a bit more time for the storytelling sessions, as we could have listened for hours.
