1 day in Bucegi Mountains and 2 days in Piatra Craiului National Park, one of the most beautiful mountains in Romania.
The trek is a medium one, except the part when we climb the highest peak of National Park: we start from Brasov, we end in Brasov - we trek between 5 - 8 hours, we make a stop to an authentic sheep farm for a "special" lunch (from June to September), we cross the authentic mountain villages from the bottom of the mountains, depending of the weather and you we climb the highest peak of the National Park (2238), we cross very nice gorges.
We stay 3 nights at the same guesthouse.

Our family had an incredible time trekking through the breathtaking landscapes of Romania’s national parks, especially enjoying the rugged beauty of the Piatra Craiului range. One memorable evening was spent unwinding at our cozy lodge in Brașov, where we shared stories of the day’s adventures under a starlit sky.

Exploring the Bucegi Mountains and Piatra Craiului National Park was an invigorating solo adventure that redefined my love for trekking. Each day brought new trails and stunning views, with cozy overnight stays that allowed me to recharge and immerse myself in the beauty of the national park. While most aspects of the experience were exceptional, a bit more detail in the itinerary regarding daily distances would have been helpful for my planning.

Waking up to the crisp mountain air and the sounds of nature was an unforgettable highlight during my four-day trek, especially when I reached a breathtaking viewpoint at sunrise.
