Our time in Paro was highlighted by an unforgettable hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, where the stunning views made every step worth it. We feasted on fresh local dishes like ema datshi, which added a delicious touch to our cultural immersion. While the itinerary was generally well-paced, a couple of our meals felt a bit rushed, but the breathtaking scenery and rich history more than made up for it.

We loved exploring the stunning landscapes and rich traditions during our week-long adventure, especially the breathtaking hike to an iconic monastery perched high on a cliff. One of our favorite moments was sharing a delicious traditional meal with locals, where the vibrant flavors and warm hospitality truly made us feel welcomed. While the itinerary was packed with amazing sights, we did find ourselves a bit rushed at times, wishing we could linger longer in some of the peaceful spots we discovered.
