Go for an impressive mountain biking ride throughout the forest right next to Stockholm. This forest is so big that you could bike for days using only different trails. This location is like a maze of hundreds of tracks and is one of the best spots in the whole of Scandinavia. Lucky for us, it’s right next door to our office south of Stockholm, 10 minutes by tube from the very centre.
We will start at 09.00 from the meeting point, check if the bikes are well set for you, and that everything feels comfortable, and make sure we’re all ready before taking the direction to the forest. After 6 minutes on the road, we will arrive at the forest. You’ll notice its smell from the pine trees, the green of the leaves, and the singing birds all around. Yes, we bike in this atmosphere.
There are many different paths; your guide will take tracks according to your abilities. Feel free to take some speed or do some jumps if you get the guts for it. Yes, our bikes can handle it :)

Exploring Stockholm’s enchanting forests on our mountain bikes was a delightful adventure, though we did encounter a few rough patches on the trails. We appreciated the scenic views and felt the guides were knowledgeable, but the transportation to the starting point could’ve been a bit more organized to ease the process. Overall, it was a fun way to spend five hours outdoors, especially as beginners, and we left with a sense of achievement in such a beautiful setting.
