Since ancient times, Baiyun Mountain was a famous scenic spot. At that time, some known figures visited Baiyun Mountain during the Warring States period (5th to 3rd centuries BC).
The area was celebrated again for its beauty during the Jin Dynasty (266 to 420) and the Tang Dynasty (618 to 907). Different attractions in Baiyun, have been classified among “Eight Sights of Ram City” as loveliest spots in Guangzhou, since the Song Dynasty (960 to 1279). Unfortunately, only a few of these historical sites have survived the time which many of them were destroyed due to the city’s expansion.
The different rocks alongside the green scenery have created a beautiful area that everyone would enjoy a walkthrough. On top of the mountain, you can look over the whole city and the Pearl River.
