Stage 1
Delight from Georgian landscapes
The road from Tbilisi to Kazbegi runs along the picturesque gorge of the Aragvi River: The first stop at one of the dams of the Zhinvali reservoir:
You will admire its turquoise smooth surface and learn about the origin and role of this reservoir.
Stage 2
The journey also includes the beautifully preserved fortress of Ananuri of the 16th century: behind its powerful walls, the stories of local rulers - Aragwa eristavs - are waiting for you.

In addition, you will find the confluence of two rivers (White and Black Aragvi),

Gergeti Church
You surely saw such postcards: an ancient monastery standing on a hill on a background of snow-capped mountains. For these species in reality, you will go to the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek. And there you will transfer to jeeps to climb to the "monastery behind the clouds", sung in the poems of Pushkin.
Additional expenses: jeep to the temple in Gergeti (15 GEL per person); dinner.
