Tour Plan

Amboseli National Park is one of the best destinations for spotting some of Africa's most stunning wildlife. Located at the base of Kilimanjaro, take a day-trip to the park from Nairobi and enjoy a day of wildlife spotting, lunch and swimming.

This will be a busy day, so we’ll hit the road before sun rise. We’ll pick you up at 5:00 am for the drive to the park. Along the way you’ll awaken with the sun as it spreads over the countryside, shining upon the local farms and homesteads. Along our drive you may see the Maasai herders in their colorful shuka wraps, tending to their cattle.

Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs,

Our day spent immersed in the local culture and observing stunning wildlife exceeded all expectations. We particularly loved our close encounter with elephants, which felt surreal as they roamed freely against the backdrop of majestic peaks. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a bit more time interacting with the Maasai community, as we found their traditions and stories incredibly enriching.

The wildlife sightings were absolutely breathtaking, especially when I spotted a herd of elephants gracefully moving across the savannah. Interacting with the local Maasai people added a rich layer to my experience, as they shared their customs and traditions with genuine warmth. One suggestion for improvement would be to include a bit more time for photography during the wildlife drive, as I found myself wanting to capture every moment.

Standing on a ridge with Amboseli’s breathtaking expanse before me, I was mesmerized by a herd of elephants gracefully moving through the acacia trees, embodying the wild spirit of Kenya.
