Tour Plan
Itinerary
You will start the evening being picked up from the Buenos Aires Cruise Port.
Then we’ll take you over to the cobbled streets of San Telmo, a historic neighborhood with deep roots in the tango tradition. Arrive at a "conventillo", a historic tenement restored and now used as a restaurant-theater, where La Ventana takes place.
For dinner, you’ll be able to choose between a selection of typical national and international dishes.
The tango show will begin at 10pm, with music from not only a live tango orchestra, but also an Argentine gaucho band. Onstage, four spectacular couples dance with incredible precision and a whole lot of passion.
The show will also give you an insight into gaucho culture through their music as well as a striking demonstration of their boleadoras skills (lasso-type tools used in herding cattle).
To bring an unforgettable evening to a close, the performers at La Ventana sing a touching tribute to Eva Perón.

We had an unforgettable time trekking across breathtaking glaciers and soaking in the stunning views from Estancia Cristina. The daily meals were a delightful treat, although we wished there had been a bit more variety in the lunch options.

From the moment I arrived in El Calafate, the adventure began, and I found myself completely immersed in the beauty of the landscape. Trekking on the glacier was an experience like no other; the crisp air and breathtaking views made every step feel magical. Staying at Estancia Cristina was another highlight, as it allowed me to soak in the history and charm of the region while enjoying the warmth of the traditional Argentine hospitality. However, I did feel that some of the group activities could have been better organized, as there were moments of confusion about schedules. Overall, this trip was a rewarding mix of exploration and relaxation, making it perfect for any solo traveler looking for a memorable escape.

Diving into the ice-blue expanse during the glacier trekking was a highlight that took my breath away; the sheer scale of nature was humbling. I stayed at a cozy lodge that felt like a home away from home, with friendly staff who shared stories about the region. My only complaint would be that the itinerary felt a bit rushed at times, but the incredible views and unforgettable moments made it all worthwhile.

Exploring the stunning glaciers while trekking in El Calafate was an exhilarating experience that exceeded our expectations. The meals at Estancia Cristina were decent, though a bit more variety would have been appreciated for such an immersive adventure.

From the moment we set foot on the icy terrain, the thrill of trekking through the blue-tinted expanse was palpable. We savored local cuisine at the estancia, which offered delightful flavors that perfectly complemented our adventurous days. The only hiccup was the occasional wait for transport, but the breathtaking views made it easy to enjoy the moments of downtime.
