Itinerary

Day 1

PA capital of the Balkans – Velingrad, cute Narrow-Gauge Railway, Gotse Delchev, Kovatchevitsa, SPA resort of Ognyanovo

  • DAY 1:

    8:00 – 8:20 Pick-up from Sofia.

    10-10:15 – Arrival at the SPA capital of the Balkans – Velingrad.

    10:00 – Start of the trip with the cute Narrow-Gauge Railway, the highest railway of the Balkans!

    13:00 – Arrival at the last station of the Narrow-Gauge Railway – station Dobrinishte, pick-up from there and departure to the city of Gotse Delchev (Nevrokop) .

    14:00 – Arrival at the city of Gotse Delchev, guided tour around the central part of the city, visit of the local Regional Museum and free time.

    16:30 – meeting the guide at the meeting spot and departure to the village of Kovatchevitsa.

    17:00 – expected time of arrival at Kovatchevitsa, tour around the village.

    18:00 – expected time of arrival at the SPA resort of Ognyanovo, accommodation in the hotel and time to relax and enjoy some good food, mineral water and SPA.

Day 2

  • DAY 2 – A DAY TRIP TO THE AEGEAN COASTAL CITY KAVALA, THE BORN CITY OF THE FOUNDER OF NOWADAYS EGYPT – THE GREAT MOHAMMAD ALI, WITH THE RIVER CAVE OF ANGITIS INCLUDED.

    9:00 – Start of the trip after breakfast.

    10:15 – arrival at the cave of Angitis, the second longest river cave of Europe!

    12:00-12:30 – arrival at the city of Kavala, guided tour around the historical part, visit of the residency of Mohammad Ali and free time.

    16:15-16:30 – end of free time, encounter with the guide at the meeting spot and departure to the hotel.

    18:30-19:00– return to the hotel.

Day 3

  • A DAY TRIP TO THE AEGEAN COASTAL CITY KAVALA, THE BORN CITY OF THE FOUNDER OF NOWADAYS EGYPT – THE GREAT MOHAMMAD ALI, WITH THE RIVER CAVE OF ANGITIS INCLUDED.
