Located in the slope of the mountain with picturesque view to the Agung volcano overlooking the clouds. This is one of the most highly regarded temples of Bali.

Candidasa Beach

Stop for photo. Candidasa is often not visited by travelers and is made up of a string of villages along the coast that offer a nice change of pace to areas like Kuta. You will find a large swathe of beach here that stretches for miles. If you want a more secluded and less crowded beach experience, then this is a good choice for you.

Tirta Gangga

Tirta Gangga literally translates to water from the Ganges and it is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. Water palace built in 1948 by the Raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Tirta Gangga is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues.

This temple compound consists of a petirtaan (bathing structure), famous for it's holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring flowing with fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy (amritha). In this Temple, you can watch how Balinese locals conduct a holy blessing.
