Please Note

  • Domestic Flights: Baggage allowance for Turkish domestic flights is typically 15–20kg checked + 8kg cabin. Excess baggage fees apply.
  • Cappadocia Weather: Expect cool mornings and evenings even in summer. Winters can be snowy and magical! Comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing are recommended year-round.
  • Balloon Rides: Balloon flights are subject to weather conditions and may be canceled for safety. If canceled, we’ll assist with a refund or reschedule (if possible).
  • Altitude & Walking: Cappadocia’s terrain includes uneven paths and mild hikes. The underground city and valleys involve stairs and walking – suitable for those with average mobility.
  • Shopping & Cultural Stops: We include stops at local artisan workshops (e.g. pottery, carpets) to support traditional crafts. There’s no obligation to purchase, but it’s a great opportunity to take home a piece of Cappadocia.
  • Cave Hotels: Staying in a cave hotel is a unique experience! Some rooms may have natural rock walls and limited windows – charming but different from standard hotels.
  • Currency: Turkish Lira (TRY) is the local currency. Major cards are accepted, but having cash is helpful for small purchases and tips.
  • Tipping: While not mandatory, tipping your guide and driver is appreciated for excellent service. A guideline is $10–20 per day per person.
