Itinerary

Departure from Shanghai by High-Speed Train

Your private driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and take you to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station.

The ride takes about 30–40 minutes (depending on your hotel location), arriving around 08:00.

After drop‑off, proceed to security check and wait for your train.

West Lake Boat Cruise (1‑Hour Classic Route)

Board a traditional wooden boat at the lakeside pier for a 1‑hour scenic cruise.

Glide past the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (featured on the ¥1 note) and the Mid‑Lake Pavilion – your guide will share local legends and history.

Enjoy the gentle breeze and panoramic views of Leifeng Pagoda and Precious Stone Hill.

Return to the lakeside pier after the cruise.

Leifeng Pagoda: Panoramic Overlook

After the cruise, walk or take a short ride to Leifeng Pagoda on Nanshan Road (entrance ~¥40).

Take the elevator or stairs to the top for a 360‑degree view of West Lake, Su Causeway, and the city skyline.

The underground hall displays ancient relics from the pagoda’s original foundation.

Your guide will share the legendary tales behind Leifeng Pagoda (including the famous Legend of the White Snake).

Lingyin Temple: A Journey into Zen

Visit the Feilaifeng grotto carvings, then enter the main halls of Lingyin Temple – the Heavenly King Hall, the Grand Hall, etc. – and experience the solemnity of this thousand‑year‑old monastery.

Your guide will explain the history, Buddhist culture, and architectural art of Lingyin Temple.

Longjing Village: Tea Terrace Walk & Dragon Well Tea Tasting

Take a ride to Longjing Village (about 25–30 min).

Stroll through the terraced tea fields, visit a local farmer’s workshop, and enjoy a complimentary tasting of freshly roasted West Lake Dragon Well tea.

Your guide will explain the tea‑picking and roasting process, as well as Chinese tea culture.

Feel free to buy a small pack of fresh tea leaves (your guide can help with bargaining).

High‑Speed Train Return: Hangzhou East → Shanghai Hongqiao

Board the G‑series high‑speed train (departing 5:37 PM) – the journey takes about 45–50 minutes, arriving at Shanghai Hongqiao around 6:25 PM.

After arrival, contact your private driver, who will be waiting at the exit to take you back to your Shanghai hotel.
