Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Addis Ababa at 7:00 AM. Drive east through the Ethiopian Rift Valley, passing small towns, local villages, and impressive volcanic landscapes.
Upon arrival at Awash National Park, begin your first game drive through the acacia woodlands and open savannah. Keep an eye out for Beisa Oryx, Soemmerring’s Gazelle, Warthogs, Olive Baboons, Hamadryas Baboons, Lesser Kudu, and numerous bird species.
Continue to the impressive Awash Falls, where the Awash River plunges into a dramatic gorge surrounded by lush vegetation. The area is also home to Nile Crocodiles and various water birds.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Doho Lodge & Hot Springs for check-in. Relax in the lodge’s famous natural hot spring pools and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of palm forests and volcanic scenery.

After breakfast, depart for Ali Dege Wildlife Reserve, located within the Great Rift Valley ecosystem. This protected area is known for its wide-open savannah and unique wildlife.
Enjoy a morning game drive in search of Beisa Oryx, Salt’s Dik-dik, Soemmerring’s Gazelle, Warthogs, Ostriches, Jackals, and numerous bird species. The reserve offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and spectacular landscapes.
Following the safari, begin the return journey to Addis Ababa. Enjoy scenic views along the route and stop for lunch before continuing to the capital.
Arrive in Addis Ababa in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
