Itinerary
St. Peter's Church
You will visit The Mönckebergstraße which is one of the main shopping streets in Hamburg.
Stop 2
Visit the St. Peter's church which is a Protestant cathedral built by the order of Pope Leo X.
Stop 3
Your third visit will be to Rathausmarkt which is the central square and is located in the Altstadt quarter right in front of the Hamburg Rathaus. There are many events taking place here, amongst them are the open-air cinema in summer, the music festival of Rockspektakel, and the Christmas market in December.
Stop 4
Visit the City Hall which is the seat of the local government of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
Stop 5
You will see the Gothic Revival Church of St. Nicholas which was formerly one of the five Lutheran Hauptkirchen in the city. The church was the tallest building in the world from 1874 to 1876 and is the second-tallest structure in Hamburg.
Stop 6
Visit the St. Michael's Church, which is one of Hamburg's five Lutheran main churches and one of the most famous churches in the city.
Stop 7
Visit the Bismarck Monument in Hamburg which is a memorial sculpture located in the St. Pauli quarter. It is one of 250 memorials to Bismarck worldwide and is the largest and probably best-known of these Bismarck towers.
Stop 8
Visit The Landungsbrücken, or Landing Bridges, which are found on the northern banks of the River Elbe in St. Pauli. It is also an inner city area lying north west of Hamburg city centre.
Stop 9
You will visit the Rickmer Rickmers which is a sailing ship permanently moored as a museum ship in, near the Cap San Diego. Rickmer Rickmers was built in 1896 by the Rickmers shipyard in Bremerhaven. In 1912 she was bought by Carl Christian Krabbenhöft, renamed Max, and transferred to the Hamburg - Chile route.
