Stop 1

Visit the Old town, which is mainly special as a business center of the city. You will discover about the cultural life in this area.

You will see the historic monument Bertold's Fountain built in 1759–1827.

Also known as Norsinger Tor, here you will see the two gates from the medieval times, “Martinstor” and the “Schwabentor”.

Also known as "The Whale House", we shall visit the Gothic bourgeois house which is a complex made out of 17 buildings.

You will see the Romanesque style cathedral built around the year 1200 by the last duke of Zähringen.

Stop 6

Also known as Obertor, you will see these two defensive city gates which were built around the year 1250.

Stop 7

Visit the rose garden in the city garden. Also, get to see the festival hall, music pavilion and the beautiful sculpted artwork.
