Quad bike at pyramids
Meet your guide at your Cairo or Giza hotel for transfer to the quad bike base by the Giza Pyramids. Learn the basics of safety and operation, then suit up and head across the sand. Practice steering your bike up the sides of dunes, then take on rolling slopes and rippling sand formations. Cruise past rustling palms and groups of swaying camels, and enjoy a warm desert wind as you open up the throttle and hit full speed. Spot the pyramids built by Khafre and Menkaure, get views of the mysterious Great Sphinx, and take in Khufu’s stunning Great Pyramid, the only surviving ‘Wonder of the Ancient World.’ Don’t forget your camera—climbing up the dunes around the pyramids is the ideal way to get panoramic shots of Giza away from the crowds.
