Itinerary
1 DAY :Errachidia - Ziz Oasis - Erfoud - Rissani - Khamliyeh - Erg Chebbi:
✅You will be picked up in the morning by one of our team drivers to begin the desert trip with a first stop at the natural oasis of Ziz (the largest oasis in the region) with a wonderful panoramic view to take some souvenir photos and enjoy the beauty of the view from above.
✅The second stop will be near the city of Erfoud in the traditional tent to see baby camels, taste camel milk, or purchase some scarves specific to the region that you will definitely need in the desert for protection from sand.
If you are interested in fossils, you can stop at one of the museums that offer them for sale within the well-known city of Erfoud (this stop remains optional depending on interest)
✅The third stop will be in the city of Rissani, known for its historic open market, which displays all kinds of spices and dates
✅Immediately after that, we will enter the city of Merzouga to go to the village of Khamlia, specifically to Dar Gnawa, to listen to the tunes of Berber music and take souvenir photos.
✅The last stop will be when you reach Erg Chebbi, where you will find the camel man waiting for you to ride the camel and go sand dune runners to watch the best sunset, as well as sand skiing. After that, you will go directly to the luxury camp where you will spend your night (luxury tent + dinner ) included in the price to learn about Bedouin life and share moments with them by gathering around the fire, listening to the wonderful Bedouin music and watching the sparkling stars in the sky.
2 Day : Merzouga Desert - Erfoud - Oued Ziz - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fez
An early start to the day to watch the sunrise, eat breakfast and ride the camel back to meet your driver. Travel north to pass along the Ziz Valley; A palm-fringed gorge with hidden kasbahs. In Midelt, we stop for lunch. From here the landscape changes to mountains and forests. In the large cedar forests of Azrou, it is possible to stop and watch the Barbary monkeys that live there. Ifrane is an Alpine city that resembles Switzerland with its sloping roofs. After a short break in Ifrane, we leave the forests and take the road to Fez.
