Itinerary
Step 1
You will start our day trip from Fez driving toward Taza city. We will enjoy our ride with the view and sights we will pass by along the way. Then, we will arrive to Taza, the oldest city in Morocco, which connects modernity and authenticity since it was found in the 18th century.
Step 2
We will begin exploring Taza starting from its famous historical sites, like Drouj Bab Jamàa, these stairs are very famous places; we will go up them to see the city from above in a fabulous sight. Then we will stop for a tasty lunch to forward our day trip to Friouato Cave.
Step 3
Friouato Cave is located 30km south of Taza, in this day trip we will go down through a one-hundred stairs that leads to a long river near Chiker’s Cave. The atmosphere inside the cave is cooler than outside, even cooler than you might think, and there are rocks of clay as well, for so, you will need to wear warm clothes or jacket and water resistant shoes, either, you can rent these necessary materials including the helmet with the lamp, you will be in need of it when you go deep inside the dark cave.
Our last destination will be the National Park of Tazekka; we will explore that site and discover how it was established in order to protect the natural sources. Then our driver will drop you off to your accommodation in Fez.
