Swayambhunath Temple

Another ancient marvel located in the western hillock of Kathmandu. This Buddhist stupa is considered one of the best attraction of Kathmandu City. Located in the heart of the city, Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the ancient royalties of Nepal. The site holds the massive Royal square with varieties of temples dedicated to Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Other attractions of this place are Kumari Ghar, Taleju Temple, Kasthamandap, Kaal Bhairav, and Jagannath Temple.

Pashupatinath Temple

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest shrines of the Hindus. It is also

considered as the largest Hindu temple in South Asia with iconic Hindu God,

Goddesses and hundreds of Shiva Lingam. The two-tiered golden temple is a perfect

example of the Nepalese architecture. Although tourists are not allowed inside the

premises of the temple, they can witness the open cremation in the bank of the

Bagmati river.
