Itinerary
DUBROVNIK
Pick-up from the selected hotels within the Dubrovnik city area.
POČITELJ
Short stop in Počitelj.
The historic urban site of Počitelj is located on the left bank of the river Neretva, on the main road to Mostar.
In the Middle Ages, Počitelj was the administrative centre and the centre of governance of Dubrava župa (county) and its westernmost point, which gave it major strategic importance. It is supposed that the fortified town and its attendant settlements were built by Bosnia's King Stjepan Tvrtko I in 1383.
The walled town of Počitelj evolved over the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the surviving stone-built parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution may be observed: Mediaeval and Ottoman.
MOSTAR
Arrival to Mostar, guided walking tour followed by free time.
Experience Mostar through the eyes of a local guide who brings the city’s past to life so that you can understand its present! The guide will reveal over 600 years of history, architecture, and culture and explains the dissolution of Yugoslavia and recent wars.
During your free time we recommend you to try some of the best Bosnian traditional food.
BLAGAJ
On our way back we stop in Blagaj to visit its Tekija, a centuries old Dervish monastery, situated at the foot of a cliff, next to the source of the river Buna. Its unique and picturesque series of buildings look even better in person than in pictures.
