Day 1 Tour to Gombori

    The Tsiv-Gombori or Gombori is a mountain range in the Georgian section of Greater Caucasus mountains. It is located in the province of Kakheti, eastern Georgia, and stretches to the distance of 107 km, with the highest mountain being at 1,991 m above sea level.

    Alaverdi Monastery is a Georgian Eastern Orthodox monastery located 25 km (16 mi) from Akhmeta, in the Kakheti region of Eastern Georgia. While parts of the monastery date back to 6th century, the present day cathedral was built in the 11th century by Kvirike III of Kakheti, replacing an older church of St. George

    Omalo is a principal village in the historical region of Tusheti, Georgia. Administratively, it is part of the Akhmeta District in Kakheti. It lies between the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range and the Pirikita Range of Tusheti. Due to Omalo's high mountain location on the northern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range and the absence of well-maintained roads, it is largely isolated from the rest of Georgia for most of the year. The only access road is through the Abano pass at 2,850 metres (9,350 ft) The fortress of Keselo is a landmark in Zemo (upper) Omalo, this place served as a refuge for locals in wartime.

    Shenako is one of the prettiest villages in Tusheti. It has houses of stone and wooden balconies at 2080 meters above sea level. Several residents live in the village in the summer. It has unique pine forests around the village.

Day 2 Tour to Dartlo

    Dartlo is a village in the Akhmeta Municipality, Kakheti Region, Georgia. The village is known for its historic stone towers and houses, and the Dartlo church. Dartlo is part of the historical region of Tusheti and is located about 12km from Omalo, the main village of the region.

    Telavi is the main city and administrative center of Georgia's eastern province of Kakheti. Its population consists of some 19,629 inhabitants (as of the year 2014).[1] The city is located on the foothills of the Tsiv-Gombori Range at 500–800 m (1,600–2,600 ft) above sea level.
