Itinerary

Day 1 Amman Queen Alia International Airport – Amman Hotel (D) 40 KM
  • 1. Amman

    Start your Jordan experience with an airport transfer to your hotel in Amman. Check in, dinner and overnight. 

Day 2 Amman Panoramic City Tour - Jerash - Ajloun - Amman (B, D) 175 KM
  • 1. Amman

    Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit of the capital of Amman ancient and modern city. 

    2. Jerash Governorate

    Transfer to the magical roman city of Jerash, one of the most complete and best preserved of the Roman Empire. A walk-through time visiting its streets, theaters, temples and other places like the Great Colonnade, the Arc of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, as well as the Temples of Zeus and Artemis 

    3. Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad)

    Proceed to visit the amazing Islamic Fortress of Ajloun located on top of a hill with an incredible view, was built by one of Saladin's generals in 1185 A.D. to control the iron mines in the area; which is a perfect example of Islamic architecture since it was rebuilt in the thirteenth century by the Mamluks. Ajloun Castle dominated the three main routes leading to the Jordan Valley and protected the trade routes between Jordan for what became a strategic defensive point at the time of the Crusaders.

    Drive back to Amman for dinner and overnight in Amman hotel.

Day 3 Amman - Desert Castle - Dead Sea Hotel (B, D) 275 KM

    Start this day by visiting several Islamic medieval desert castles that offer a number of fortresses with fresco art and zodiac dome like: Qasr Kharaneh a Roman then Umayyed fortress built and completed in 710 A.D., 

    3. Quseir Amra

    Qasr Amra from the Umayyads era, and Qaser Azraq where T. E Lawrence of Arabia had his headquarters.

    4. Dead Sea Region

    Drive to the Dead Sea, the first natural spa. Sitting at 1,300 feet (400 meters) below sea level, it is lowest point on earth, and the landscape is unlike anything else. The Dead Sea is one of the most incredible places in the world. It is by far one of Jordan's most impressive and spectacular places to visit. Its calm shining water glowing from its scorching sun known for the concentration of salt and minerals, which makes it a therapeutic, as well as a unique swimming experience. Free time at leisure to swim and enjoy the weather. Dinner and overnight at Dead Sea hotel. 

Day 4 Dead Sea - Madaba – Mount Nebo – Karak - Petra (B, D) 325 KM

    Departure to the enchanted city of Madaba the "City of Mosaics" where you will visit the church of Saint George which houses the map of the Holy Land made in 571 A.D.

    3. Mount Nebo

    Continue to Mount Nebo, known as the tomb of Moses, from whose summit a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley, and visit its Franciscan Church.

    4. Karak Castle

    After this breathtaking view and visit of its church, continue to the Crusaders Castle of Karak, the largest in the Levant built in 1142 A.D

    5. Petra - Wadi Musa

    Departure to the one and only Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Petra – Wadi Rum Camp (B, D) 160 KM
  • 1. Petra

    After breakfast, visit the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra. Enjoy a 2-hour tour of this awe-inspiring Nabatean city and UNESCO World Heritage site with a local guide. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Petra was carved into a sandstone gorge more than 2,000 years ago to dominate the trading routes of ancient Arabia and is rightly regarded as the jewel in the crown of Jordan’s historic sites. Walk along the narrow “Siq”, the high-walled fissure in the rocks that winds into the heart of the city. Then, stop in your tracks at your first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury, known locally as “El-Khazneh” - Petra’s stellar sight. Wonder at its intricate façade and hear how movies such as Indiana Jones, the Transformers, and the Last Crusade were filmed here. Take photos of this glorious monument and then continue your tour. See Petra’s ornate tombs cut into the rock face, and admire the stunning theater that once sat 3,000 spectators

    2. Petra - Wadi Musa

    As you walk, visit the Byzantine church and hear stories as well as facts about the ingenious Nabateans who chose, carved out, and then made this place their home so long ago. Climb either the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice, if time permits. Free time to visit the Petra Museum; if there is time. Free time for lunch on your own expense. 

    3. Wadi Rum Village

    Transfer to the desert of Wadi Rum. Dinner and overnight Wadi Rum Camp.

Day 6 Wadi Rum - Amman (B, D) 495 KM
  • 1. Wadi Rum

    After breakfast proceed to the desert of Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon where the movie Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian where filmed, for a classic 2 hours visit of Wadi Rum in a 4x4 local jeeps. Wadi Rum is a uniquely shaped massive mountain that rose amongst the rosy red sand of the desert with towering cliffs of various brownish, reddish, and golden colors.

    2. Amman

    Enjoy your safe drive back to Amman. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Amman – Amman Queen Alia International Airport (B) 40 KM

    Your visit to Jordan tour finishes after your hotel breakfast. Check out of your hotel and relax on a convenient airport drop-off at Amman Queen Alia International Airport at a time to fit your flight departure.
