Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu(1400 m)
  • Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International Airport. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 2 Drive to Syabrubesi (2380 m)
  • On this day we have our breakfast by 6:00 a.m. in the morning and head towards a bus park and board a tourist bus to Syabrubesi. The bus ride will take around 7 hours through curvy roads of hilly terrain with couple of breaks in between for snacks and lunch. The drive to Syabrubesi is exhilarating with beautiful views of never leaving tributaries, lush green hills and roadside settlements.

Day 3 Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2238 m) 5-6 hrs
  • The ultimate starting point of Tamang Heritage Trek is Syabrubesi. After a breakfast you head towards Goljhang Valley through the magnificent views of Langtang Himal and Gosaikunda ranges. After lunch, you continue the trek to Gatlang. This is a beautiful Tamang village where you will stay overnight.

Day 4 Gatlang to Tatopani (2607 m) 5-6 hrs
  • Descending to a lovely river Thangbuchet, we walk across several suspension bridges towards Tatopani. The word 'tatopani' is called natural hot water spring in English. You will have a great opportunity to swim or bath in this hot water. it is believed that bathing or swimming in natural hot water keeps your pain away. Overnight we stay at Tatopani.

Day 5 Tatopani to Thuman (2338 m) 5-6 hrs
  • Your trail continues towards the Nagthali Danda where you will find plenty of sloppy grasslands. Here, you enjoy the captivating views of Langtang Himal ranges. After catching a lunch at Nagthal, we will be welcomed by the friendly people of Thuman Village.

Day 6 Thuman to Briddim (2299 m) 5-6 hrs
  • Today we descend to Timure, a flatter sections of trails. Tibet is not far away from here. This day we continue our walk towards another appealing Tamang Village called Briddim. We stay overnight at a simple and comfortable homestay where all kinds of local foods are served.

Day 7 Briddim to Syabrubesi (1460 m) 3-4 hrs
  • Just a 3-hours descend takes us to Syabrubesi. After a breakfast in Briddim we continue our walk and reach Syabrubesi for our lunch. During the spear time at Syabrubesi, we spend our spear time relaxing.

Day 8 Drive to Kathmandu (7 hrs)
  • On this day we have our breakfast by 6:00 a.m. in the morning and get ready to head towards Kathmandu. The bus ride will take around 7 hours through curvy roads of hilly terrain with couple of breaks in between for snacks and lunch. Tracing the same way back we reach Kathmandu and we transfer you back at the hotel.

Day 9 Farewell
  • Today we say our final goodbye. Our representative will come to see you off at the airport. Hoping you had a pleasant and wonderful trekking experience we bid you goodbye.

  • Porter-supported trek
  • Two clients share one porter. We will supply you a trek duffel bag where you keep your heavy items and this bag is carried by the porter. You will need to bring your own daypack to be carried by you. In the daypack, you can put money, important documents, water bottle/bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, notebook, etc. The weight limit for the porter is 30 kg or 66 pounds. 15 kg or 33 pounds for each client. So, we recommend you to pack as carefully as you can and not exceed the weight limit. You can leave your non-trekking stuff at the locker facility in the Kathmandu hotel.
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Tight fitting, figure-hugging clothing such as those made with Lycra can often be offensive to locals, especially to women. If you find these items comfortable as a base layer, please pack something to wear on top of them.
