Itinerary

The Archaeological Park

of Dion is the most important archaeological site at Mount Olympus in Greece, located in Dion (Greek: Δίον). In the area comprised by the Archaeological Park of Dion, sanctuaries were found from the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The park displays the importance of ancient Dion in the history of Pieria.

Step 2

The Monastery of Agios Dionysios in Olympus is a Greek Orthodox monastery on the slopes of Mount Olympus, the most important monastery in the Pieria Prefecture. It is located at the Enipeas ravine at an altitude of 850 m The original monastery, established in 1542, was destroyed by the Germans in 1943.

Nearby, there is the cave of Saint Dionysius.

Enipeas, the river that crosses the flanks of Mt Olympus and provides this sacred water and fabulous interaction of pools and waterfalls all the way to Litochoro!

Nestled along the foothill of Mount Olympus, is an authentic Macedonian village known as Litochoro, which dates back to the 14th century. It's a beautiful and picturesque place to enjoy our lunch with local greek food.
