Itinerary

Step 1

Mount Pellegrino is a hill facing east on the bay of Palermo, Sicily, southern Italy, located north of the city.

It is 606 metres (1,970 ft) high with panorama views of the city, its surrounding mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
In his book Travels in Italy, Goethe described Monte Pellegrino as the most beautiful promontory in the world.

Step 2

Mondello is a small borough of the city of Palermo in the autonomous region of Sicily in Southern Italy.

Its beach lies between two cliffs called Mount Gallo and Mount Pellegrino. The town was originally a small fishing village situated on marshland, but at the end of the 19th century it grew into a tourist destination. A number of Liberty style villas on the seafront promenade have made it one of the gems of Art Nouveau in Europe

Step 3

The vibrant and bustling Mercato del Capo, also known as Ballarò market, is a true embodiment of Palermo's rich culture and history. The market, dating back to medieval times, offers a unique glimpse into the daily life of the city.

Take a stroll through the market's narrow streets, lined with colorful stalls selling a variety of goods, from fresh produce to traditional Sicilian handicrafts.
Immerse you on a culinary and cultural journey, introducing you to the market's local specialties and hidden gems.

The market is not only a shopping destination, but also a cultural and gastronomic experience, where you can taste street food, traditional Sicilian sweets and local delicacies while immersing in the vibrant atmosphere of the market.
