Begin your journey with a scenic 1h 20-minute boat ride from Nungwi or Kendwa Beach to Mnemba Island, for a Morning Half Day excursion including Seasonal Fruits, and drinking water.
SNORKELING - Mnemba Kichwani Coral Reef
After heading with your boat to the stunning Mnemba Atoll and with every possibility of dolphins, you will stop at Mnemba Kichwani Reef for your first snorkeling stop.
This amazing reef, with steep slopes offers some great underwater topography and a chance
to see amazing corals and a lot of fish. The snorkeling session is roughly 45-60 Minutes.
SNORKELING – Mnemba Coral Gardens
After a 20-minute boat journey from Kitchwani Reef you will arrive at the Mnemba Coral Gardens. Here you will snorkel for 45 minutes to 1 hour. These coral gardens are home to many species of aquarium fish and stunning soft and hard corals.
FRUITS at Muyuni Beach
After your second snorkeling trip you are heading from Mnemba Atoll to the opposite side, an area called Muyuni Beach. Here you can enjoy your fruits. You will have enough time to relax on this beautiful, secluded beach before your trip continues with a sail back to Nungwi or Kendwa.
Once your trip is confirmed, please provide your flipper size if you don’t have your own.

- SPECIAL INFORMATIONPlease pack sunscreen and a hat for your boat excursion, as you are out in the sun
- Please bring a towel and your swimwear, as you get the possibility to swim and snorkel during the trip
- Please do not purchase any large shells or coral from local vendors as it promotes the destruction of our fragile marine ecosystem
- It is advised to wear shoes that are easy to slip in and out and that don’t get damaged by water
- Be aware of sea urchins when standing barefoot at the beach (they are not dangerous but can be painful).
- Once your trip is confirmed, please provide your flipper size if you don’t have your own.
