Day 1

Arrival to Salta & City Tour

  • Transfers from your accommodation to the airport and flights from Buenos Aires to Salta (if you selected the option with included flights).

    Welcome to Salta La Linda! Our designated transfer will welcome you to Salta and provide comfortable transportation from the airport to your 4-star hotel.  Please, you should arrive no later than 2:00 pm.

    In the afternoon, exploring the magic of Salta! Our expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a journey through the city’s most captivating sights. Stroll through the charming historic center, where colonial architecture and vibrant culture blend seamlessly. Marvel at the majestic Salta Cathedral, the stunning San Francisco Church, and the lively Plaza 9 de Julio, the heart of the city.

    Ride the cable car to the top of Cerro San Bernardo and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its spectacular surroundings!

Day 2

Full-Day Excursion to Cafayate

  • Embark on an unforgettable journey through breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture! We'll pick you up from your hotel in the morning, and your adventure begins in the charming Lerma Valley, where tobacco fields and picturesque colonial-style villages transport you back in time.

    We then venture into the Quebrada del Río Las Conchas, famous for its striking rock formations in shades of red, orange, and yellow—shaped over centuries by wind and rain erosion.

    Following National Route 68, we arrive in Cafayate, nestled in the heart of the Calchaquí Valleys and surrounded by stunning scenery, from mountains to lush vineyards. Its dry, sunny climate creates the perfect conditions for high-quality wine production, with Torrontés standing out as a unique, aromatic white wine that thrives in the region's high-altitude environment. After exploring this wonderful town, we return to Salta.

Day 3

Full-day Excursion to Purmamarca & Salinas Grandes

    Your day begins with an early departure from Salta, as you embark on a full-day adventure to explore the natural wonders of Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes.

    Our first stop will be Purmamarca, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Quebrada de Humahuaca. This village preserves the ancestral legacy of the indigenous peoples, with traditions that remain alive in every corner. Surrounded by mountains, you'll be captivated by the explosion of colors they offer: from intense reds and ochres to deep greens and purples, highlighted by the Cerro de los 7 Colores, a majestic mountain that reveals an impressive palette of vibrant hues, creating a stunning natural masterpiece. Stroll through the charming adobe houses, visit the historic church, and explore the vibrant artisan market, filled with colorful textiles, ceramics, and handmade jewelry.

    Next, we'll take the winding road to the Cuesta de Lipán, a scenic route leading to one of Argentina's most unique destinations: Salinas Grandes. This vast salt desert will surprise you with its pure and surreal beauty. Immerse yourself in a landscape 3,450 meters above sea level. Capture stunning photos before heading back to Salta.

Day 4

  • In the morning enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, savoring the last moments of your stay in Salta.   Your designated transfer will provide seamless transportation from your hotel to Salta Airport, ensuring a stress-free departure experience.

  • Rates are per person. If you are a solo traveler, you will have single occupancy. If there are two or more travelers, you will have double or triple occupancy. If single occupancy is required, we can certainly provide a quote.

  • Infants only pay taxes and airfares.
  • For flights, infants (under 2 years old) must sit on an adult's lap as they are not entitled to a separate seat. If you choose the flight option, we’ll pick you up from your centrally located hotel in Buenos Aires. If not, we’ll meet you at Salta Airport (Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport). Please ensure your flight arrives before 2:00 pm to take part in the Day 1 excursion.
