Day 1

Arrival in Salta & City Tour - The Enchanting Gateway to Northern Argentina

  • Transfers from your Buenos Aires hotel to the airport and airfare from Buenos Aires to Salta (If Flight option is selected)
    Welcome to Salta La Linda! You should arrive no later than 2:00 pm.

    Our designated transfer will welcome you to Salta and provide comfortable transportation from the airport to your centrally located 4-star hotel.  (Please, you should arrive no later than 2:00 pm)

    In the afternoon, exploring the magic of Salta! Our expert guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on a journey through the city’s most captivating sights. Stroll through the charming historic center, where colonial architecture and vibrant culture blend seamlessly. Marvel at the majestic Salta Cathedral, the stunning San Francisco Church, and the lively Plaza 9 de Julio, the heart of the city.

    Ride the cable car to the top of Cerro San Bernardo and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its spectacular surroundings!

Day 2

Full-day Excursion to Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes.

    Our first stop will be Purmamarca, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Quebrada de Humahuaca. This village preserves the ancestral legacy of the indigenous peoples, with traditions that remain alive in every corner. Surrounded by mountains, you’ll be captivated by the explosion of colors they offer: from intense reds and ochres to deep greens and purples, highlighted by the Cerro de los 7 Colores, a majestic mountain that reveals an impressive palette of vibrant hues, creating a stunning natural masterpiece. Stroll through the charming adobe houses, visit the historic church, and explore the vibrant artisan market, filled with colorful textiles, ceramics, and handmade jewelry.

    Next, we’ll take the winding road to the Cuesta de Lipán, a scenic route leading to one of Argentina's most unique destinations: Salinas Grandes. This vast salt desert will surprise you with its pure and surreal beauty. Immerse yourself in a landscape 3,450 meters above sea level. Capture stunning photos before heading back to Salta.
