Itinerary

Day 3 03 Day Tour To Tissamaharamaya
  • DAY 01 - Udawalawa/Tissamaharama

    • Pick you up at the hotel
    • Early in the morning with a take away breakfast pack.
    • Proceed to Tissamaharama via Udawalawe.
    • Stop for Lunch at Udawalawe.
    • Leave on a Jeep Safari to Udawalawe National Park to experience a wildlife adventure.
    • Udawalawe National Park is the third most popular park in Sri Lanka. The primary attraction is a herd of approximately 250 elephants which are generally found near the Udawalawe reservoir. It is also possible to spot leopards in the park although this is rare. The national park is most famous as the best place in Sri Lanka to see Sri Lankan Elephants. In fact, it is the only national park in the country where an elephant sighting is guaranteed on every safari trip.  
    • After the safari continue the journey to Tissamaharama
    • Check-in at the hotel
    • Have dinner
    • Overnight at the hotel

    DAY 02 - Bundala National Park

    • Breakfast at the hotel
    • Leisure at the hotel
    • Leave the hotel for an evening safari to Bundala National Park
    •  Bundala National Park Located about fifteen kilometers east of Hambantota, Bundala National Park is one of Sri Lanka's foremost destinations for birdwatchers, protecting an important area of coastal wetland famous for its abundant aquatic (and other) birdlife. The park is also home to significant populations of elephants, Marsh & estuarine crocodiles, turtles & other fauna, including the leopard.  
    • Visit Kataragama and surrounding places
    • End of the day back to hotel
    • Take dinner
    • Overnight stay at the hotel

    DAY 03 - Tangalle/Colombo

    • After breakfast at the hotel
    • Leave for Colombo via Galle
    • Arrive in Tangalle to visit the Blowhole (Hummanaya)
    • The Hummanaya Blow Hole is a natural wonder that sprays a jet of sea water into the air between two giant rocks; sometimes reaching heights of over 80 – 100 feet, and should be added to your list of things to see while you stay with us in Mirissa. The best time to see this is during high tide, as you can experience the salty spray on your skin as seawater jets towards the sky and falls back on its wide-eyed audience. 
    • Visit Galle Fort
    • A city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It is known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone seawalls, A key part of the Fort’s appeal is that it isn’t just a pretty place. Sure, tourism now dominates the local economy, but this unique city remains a working community: there are administrative offices and courts, export companies, schools and colleges.
