About This Tour

Cruise in style and comfort aboard our beautiful Turkish Gullet.

Departing from Sliema Ferries at 9:30 AM, we embark on a full-day cruise, sailing directly to Comino Island. Along the way, we pass by various villages and attractions that dot the shoreline, taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Get ready to be amazed by the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the famous Blue Lagoon! This picturesque bay with transparent cyan waters, a white sandy base, and a rich marine life is the perfect spot for a relaxing and unforgettable day. Spend the day soaking up the sun, swimming, snorkelling, relaxing on the boat, or simply enjoying a walk in the countryside of Comino Island.

Our gullet is one of Malta’s most beautiful boats, featuring spacious decks, a stylish saloon, and a bar area. Additional amenities include swimming ladders, freshwater showers, and a canopy for shade at the back of the boat. The boat will be anchored at the Blue Lagoon for the entire day, giving you full access to the boat's facilities all day long.

During the day, a cold buffet lunch, including drinks, will be served onboard the vessel.

We return back to Sliema Ferries at approximately 5:00 PM.

    Please Note

    • If you have booked the option that includes pick-up and drop-off transfers, please note that the time shown on the website or on your ticket is the departure time of the cruise and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pick-up location and pick-up time.

    • To confirm your pick-up location (meeting point) and your pick-up time, please send an e-mail to internal-tours@robertarrigo.com at least a few days before the date of your activity. Make sure to include your booking reference number in the e-mail.

    • Guests lodging within walking distance from Sliema Ferries (from where the boat departs) must always make their own way to the boat and should arrive at the departure point 20–30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

    • If you are making your own way to the boat, the departure is from Sliema Ferries, Triq Ix-Xatt, Sliema (in the area opposite the Burger King Restaurant). When you arrive at this location, you need to look for a Turkish Gullet (a traditional-design wooden sailing vessel); the name of the boat is the 'Hera'.

    • The boat is wheelchair and stroller accessible; however, the island of Comino is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. The terrain on Comino Island is very uneven and rugged, which makes it very difficult to navigate with a wheelchair or a stroller.

    • Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed on the boat.

    • Non-foldable wheelchairs cannot be transported in vehicles or on the boat.

    • Snorkelling equipment is available for hire on the boat.

    • Not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.

    • Not recommended for travellers who are prone to sea sickness.

    • A cash bar serving some snacks and other beverages is available on the boat. Both cash and credit card payments are accepted at the bar.

    • We suggest bringing some cash with you; the internet connection on the island of Comino is not always stable; therefore, at times only cash payments can be accepted on Comino Island.

    • The duration of this activity is approximately 7½ hours; we arrive back at Sliema Ferries at approximately 5:00 PM.

    • If the trip is cancelled due to poor weather, sea conditions, or strong winds, you will be offered to reschedule your activity on a different date; if you cannot reschedule, you will be given a full refund.
