Day 1 – Arrival at Colombo

Meet and Greet at the Airport.
Tour of Negambo City area.
Negombo is located approximately 37 km north of the commercial capital of Colombo in Sri Lanka. It is located at the mouth of the Negombo lagoon. The major beach resort on the West Coast is Negombo. The wide sandy beaches and the safe sea are the main attractions of Negombo and it is perfectly located within 7 km from the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, Sri Lanka.
Visit the Negambo Beach area and go back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the rest of the Pure Sri Lanka tour.

Day 2 – Negombo to Kandy (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Thereafter proceed to Kandy with a stop at a spice garden route to witness how the traditional spices are grown (Mawanella).
Reach Kandy and check-in at Hotel.
Shopping in Kandy – known for exotic arts and crafts and world-famous gemstones.

Day 3 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (B)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Optional Tour: Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens – one of the finest in Asia, which dates back to the 14th century.
Journey up through the hills, passing waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), pine and eucalyptus forests, and vast green tea estates. Many optional photos stop en route.
Visit a Tea factory, where you will not only enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Ceylon tea but will also have the opportunity to witness the intricacies involved in its manufacturing process.
By late afternoon, reach Nuwara Eliya, the “city above the clouds” at 1980m above sea level. A golf course, racecourse for horse racing, English country-style cottages, and planters bungalows are all witnesses of its colonial past.
Check-in at the hotel – relax at leisure.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya (B)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Free at leisure & enjoy the scenic beauty.
Visit the Haggala Botanical Garden.
Optional visit to Lake Gregory.

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya to Bentota (B)

Breakfast at Hotel.
Kitulgala Water rafting.
If you are looking at an adventure and leisure base close to Colombo, Kithulgala is THE PLACE. Being so close to Colombo if you stay for one night you would be able to do many adventure and leisure activities such as White Water Rafting, Bird Watching, Walking in the Jungle, Visiting prehistoric caves, Bathing in the river, Trekking to Waterfalls, Adventure Jumps and slides in natural ponds, River Expeditions, Rain Forest Walks and Trails, Flat Water Rafting, Waterfall Abseiling.
Proceed to Bentota.
Check-in at Hotel and relax and enjoy the evening on the beach.

Day 6 – Relax at Bentota (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and relax and enjoy the beach.

Day 7 –  Bentota – Colombo – Airport (B)

Breakfast at Hotel and proceed to Colombo.
Madu Ganga River safari, A boat excursion is the best way to navigate and enjoy what’s on offer at Madu Ganga, a stretch of the lake with almost placid water dotted with many islets. You can visit an island with a Buddhist monastery, where the friendly young monks will show you a 150-year-old book made of palm leaves and how they cook on cinnamon wood on an open fire.
City tour of Colombo commencing with a visit to the Fort and the Pettah commercial hub with offices and shopping areas located amidst the oldest colonial hotel GOH. It has a fantastic view of the Colombo harbor, the lighthouse with a clock tower (older than Big Ben in London) close to the president’s house and old parliament. Afterward, proceed through the main street passing the old Dutch Museum, belfry, and old City Hall which houses puppets of earlier governors of Sri Lanka.
The stop will be made at the Old Dutch hospital with shops and restaurants facing Sri Lanka’s twin tower buildings. Continue to the old racecourse with a maze of buildings with colonial architecture, restaurants, and shopping arcade passing through Colombo City Hall (mini replica of the White House in Washington, DC)

Thereafter Proceed to the airport with lingering memories of your trip to Sri Lanka
