2 Day 1 Night Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Pick up from hotel/Location (6:00 Am) and Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, this will take roughly 2 hours arriving in the morning packed lunch.

Lake Manyara is popular for its diverse habitats and multiple ecosystems. Around the lake you can find thick rainforests, savannas, wetlands, and acacia forests, sustaining its own set of animals. A major part of the park is submerged under the water, so the game drives will be shorter compared to other parks, but even within this small region you will find a variety like no other place.

Spend the entire day at lake Manyara with a Picnic Lunch Break.

After early breakfast, depart Lake Manyara for Ngorogoro with packed lunch. You will arrive in a hours’ time and start your game drive on the crater rim. you will follow a steep descent road that winds down the inner wall and onto the crater floor. From this initial position, it’s hard to fully appreciate the nature of this experience but, as you venture across the open plains, the walls rising around you on all sides are impossible to ignore, fully enclosed with limited line of sight in all directions. It is only once you are in this position that you can truly comprehend the fascinating nature of this experience. As dramatic as the landscape is, it is the wildlife that inevitably steals the show. And, given the predominantly flat surface area of the crater floor, locating wildlife is usually considerably easier than it can be in other parks. Spend the entire morning to early evening at Ngorongoro before starting your return journey to Arusha Arriving between 5 & 6 PM.
