Itinerary
Step 1
we pick up all travelers from their accommodation in Marrakech at 8 Am
Step 2
Discover and explore the Berber country in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains and enjoy the landscapes of desert, valleys, villages and open plains on a full-day tour from Marrakech. Fall in love with the varied and unique beauty of Morocco's valleys, mountains, countryside and desert on this guided full-day tour from Marrakech. After pickup around 9:00 am, head towards the Atlas Mountains, passing through a small village where you can visit a traditional Berber souk (market on Saturday or Tuesday)
Step 3
Discover the traditional art of argan oil production at a local cooperative. Learn about the process from skilled artisans and explore the benefits of this precious Moroccan oil while supporting the local community. A unique cultural experience
Step 4
Moulay Ibrahim is a charming mountain village nestled in the Atlas Mountains near Marrakech. Known for its stunning views, the village is home to the tomb of the revered Sufi saint, Moulay Ibrahim. Visitors can experience the rich Berber culture, enjoy scenic hikes, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this spiritual and picturesque destination.
Step 5
Arrive in Imlil and hike or ride a mule to Armed, the highest and largest village in the Imlil Valley. Your journey will take you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa and Imoula. Stop at Tamatert to admire the view of ancient irrigated fields of barley, corn and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Your guide will point out interesting sites and tell you about Berber culture and heritage along the way.
Step 6
Descend through the village of Ait Souka, where you will meet a Berber family and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal as a guest in their home. Head to the Kik Plateau, at 1,800 meters above sea level, offering spectacular 360-degree views, and in spring, a wonderful expanse of alpine flowers.
