Itinerary

Stop 1

You will be picked up at your hotel in Pokhara in the morning and transferred to the meeting point. Your adventure begins when you board the shuttle for the ride to the top of the mountain. Your guide will provide commentary as you pass through the village of Sarangkot and then up the mountainside. Once on top you will take a short walk to the Butterfly Pavilion, an architectural marvel with breathtaking views of the Himalayan range. Enjoy the excitement building up while you sip coffee and wait for your turn.

At 5.400 feet above sea level you will sit into a special harness seat and await your launch. 2 participants launch at once, and it is a race to the bottom! On the count of 5 you are off, accelerating to 100 miles per hour as you pass above the dense forest below. If your eyes are still open you will see sweeping views of majestic Machhapuchhre, the Annapurna range, and the raging Seti River. Your ride concludes with a break-activated landing on the HighGround Triangle in the village of Hyangja. At the HighGround Triangle you can relax in the restaurant overlooking the gorge and get a taste of the culture of the local Tibetan refugee settlement nearby.

  • Inclement weather or Safety concerns: Zip-Flyer Nepal is all weather event. However, during periods of inclement weather (thunderstorms, high speed winds, heavy rain etc.), agents/customers must call to check the status of the ride/jump operation. In the event of cancellation, efforts will be made to reschedule your ride at a later time slot/date. Safety Restrictions:  Age Range: Adults and children aged 12 and older only.
  • Children: Children between the ages of 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of 18 years or older during the entire Zip-Flyer experience and sign the waiver on their behalf.
  • Weight: All riders must weigh between 35kgs and 125kgs.
  • Footwear: Secure closed toed shoes are a must
  • No alcohol may be consumed by the rider prior to taking the ride.
