Itinerary

Step 1

At the Valley of the Queens, travelers will see a collection of tombs and temples where the wives of pharaohs were buried during the New Kingdom period. The most famous tomb in the valley is that of Queen Nefertari, the wife of Ramses II.

Step 2

At the Temple of Medinat Habu, travelers will see one of the best-preserved mortuary temples in Egypt, built by Pharaoh Ramesses III in the 12th century BC. The temple is renowned for its magnificent reliefs and colorful paintings. Other nearby landmarks and points of interest in Luxor include the Karnak Temple Complex, the Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Colossi of Memnon.
