Itinerary
Step 1
8:00 AM - Pick up from your hotel in Mumbai Your private tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Mumbai and drive you to Nashik, which is located approximately 170 km away. The drive will take around three hours.
Step 2
11:00 AM - Visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple Upon arrival in Nashik, you'll first visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, which is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and is known for its beautiful architecture and religious significance. Your guide will take you on a tour of the temple and explain its history and significance.
Step 3
12:30 PM - Lunch break After the visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple, you'll take a break for lunch. Your guide can suggest a local restaurant where you can try some traditional Maharashtrian cuisine or you can bring a packed lunch.
Step 4
2:00 PM - Visit to Panchavati After lunch, you'll head to Panchavati, which is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus. You'll visit the Kalaram Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Rama and known for its beautiful architecture. You'll also visit the Sita Gufaa, which is a cave where it is believed that Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, stayed during their exile.
Step 5
3:30 PM - Visit to Ramkund Next, you'll visit Ramkund, which is a holy bathing ghat on the banks of the Godavari river. It is believed that Lord Rama took a bath at this spot during his exile. You'll see the various rituals and ceremonies that take place here and learn about the religious significance of the site.
Step 6
4:30 PM - Visit to Sula Vineyards After visiting the religious sites, you'll head to Sula Vineyards, which is one of the most popular vineyards in India. You'll learn about the history of the vineyard, the winemaking process, and sample some of the wines produced here.
Step 7
After sightseeing drive back to Mumbai and drop off to your hotel.
Step 8
6:00 PM - Departure to Mumbai After the tour, you'll head back to Mumbai with your guide and driver, marking the end of the tour.
9:00 PM - Drop-off at your hotel
