Itinerary
Step 1
Morning: 7:00 AM: Depart from Bangalore to Shravanabelagola, located about 150 kilometers away, with a drive time of approximately 3-4 hours depending on traffic. Enjoy the scenic journey through the countryside of Karnataka, passing through small towns and villages along the way. Take a break for breakfast at a roadside restaurant (optional).
Step 2
Arrival at Shravanabelagola: 10:00 AM: Arrive at Shravanabelagola and start the tour by visiting the famous Bahubali Statue, one of the tallest monolithic statues in the world, standing at a height of about 58 feet. Admire the intricate carvings and learn about the history and significance of this Jain pilgrimage site. Take a walk around the statue and its surroundings, marveling at the architectural and artistic details.
Step 3
Exploration and Sightseeing: 11:00 AM: Take a leisurely walk around the town and explore the ancient Jain temples and other historical monuments. Visit the nearby Chandragiri Hill, which has several Jain temples and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Climb up to the Chandragiri Hilltop to visit the famous Bhadrabahu Cave and enjoy the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the place. Step 4
