Itinerary
Step 1
8:00 AM - Pick up from your hotel in Hyderabad Your private tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hyderabad and drive you to Bidar, which is located approximately 150 km away. The drive will take around three hours.
Step 2
11:00 AM - Arrival at Bidar Fort Upon arrival in Bidar, you'll first visit the Bidar Fort, which is one of the most important historical landmarks in the region. The fort was built in the 15th century and served as the capital of the Bahmani Kingdom. Your guide will take you on a tour of the fort and explain its history and significance. You'll see the various palaces, mosques, and gardens inside the fort and learn about the architecture and culture of the Bahmani Kingdom.
Step 3
12:30 PM - Visit to Mahmud Gawan Madarsa After visiting the fort, you'll head to the Mahmud Gawan Madarsa, which was built in the 15th century and served as a center of Islamic learning. You'll see the intricate architecture and carvings of the Madarsa and learn about its history and significance.

1:30 PM - Lunch break.

2:30 PM - Visit to Bahmani Tombs After lunch, you'll visit the Bahmani Tombs, which are located about 2 km away from the Bidar Fort. These tombs were built to honor the various rulers of the Bahmani Kingdom and are known for their intricate architecture and carvings. Your guide will take you on a tour of the tombs and explain the history and significance of each one.
Step 6
3:30 PM - Visit to Narasimha Jhira Next, you'll head to Narasimha Jhira, which is a temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha located in a cave. The temple is situated on the outskirts of Bidar and is known for its natural spring water that flows inside the cave. Your guide will take you on a tour of the temple and explain its significance.
Step 7
Narasimha Jhira - a wonderful cave temple situated on the outskirts of Bidar town dedicated to the lion god Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. People throng to this temple because it is believed that the idol at the Narasimha Jhira Cave temple is self manifested and is very powerful. The Temple is known for its natural beauty and is considered to be very sacred. This ancient temple is excavated in a 300 m tunnel under the Manichoola hill range. Within the cave, a stream of water is said to be flowing continuously since the foundation of the temple. Devotees have to walk waist deep in the water for 300 m for the darshan of Lord Narasimha.

After sightseeing drive back to Hyderabad and drop off to your hotel.

4:30 PM - Visit to Bidriware Manufacturing Unit Bidriware is a unique art form that originated in Bidar and is known for its intricate designs and silver inlay work. You'll visit a Bidriware manufacturing unit and see how the artisans create these beautiful pieces of art. You'll learn about the process of making Bidriware and see the various designs and patterns that are used.
Step 10
5:30 PM - Departure to Hyderabad After the visit, you'll head back to Hyderabad with your guide and driver, marking the end of the tour.
8:30 PM - Drop-off at your hotel
