Itinerary

Stop 1

Start Time: 7:00 AM

Depart from Leh early in the morning, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide who will provide insights about the region's culture, history, and geography.

Drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, which is located approximately 160 kilometers from Leh, and takes around 4-5 hours to reach, depending on road conditions.

Stop 2

Enroute, pass through the picturesque landscapes of Ladakh, including the rugged mountain ranges, scenic valleys, and quaint villages. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayas as you ascend towards the Chang La Pass, which is situated at an altitude of 5,360 meters and is one of the highest motorable passes in the world.

Take a short break at Chang La Pass to acclimatize to the high altitude, and capture some stunning panoramic photos of the snow-capped peaks and valleys below.

Stop 3

After sightseeing drive back to Leh and drop off to your hotel.

Stop 4

Continue the drive towards Pangong Tso Lake, and upon arrival, be mesmerized by the surreal beauty of the lake. The lake is known for its ever-changing hues of blue and green, which create a stunning visual spectacle. Spend ample time by the lake, exploring the shores, taking photographs, and immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere of the place.

Stop 5

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, savoring the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape while indulging in some local snacks and refreshments.

Stop 6

Stop 7

Arrive back in Leh in the evening around 7:00 PM, marking the end of the day tour. Your guide will bid you farewell, and you can head back to your hotel or explore the local markets in Leh at your own leisure.
