Itinerary
Step 1
8:00 AM - Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kolkata. Once you're comfortable in the car, you'll start your journey towards Bishnupur, which is located about 140 kilometers away from the city.
Step 2
11:00 AM - You'll reach Bishnupur after a scenic drive of around 3 hours. Bishnupur is a historic town in the Bankura district of West Bengal, known for its rich culture and heritage.
Step 3
11:15 AM - Your sightseeing tour of Bishnupur will begin with a visit to the Shyam Ray Temple, which is one of the most famous temples in the town. This temple is known for its intricate terracotta work on the walls, which depict scenes from Hindu mythology. You'll be amazed at the level of detail and skill that has gone into creating these beautiful works of art.
Step 4
12:00 PM - Next, you'll visit the twin shrines of Jorbangla, which have a unique curved roof that resembles a horseshoe. This architectural style is characteristic of the region and is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Bishnupur.

1:00 PM - Lunch at a local restaurant.

2:00 PM - After lunch, you'll continue your sightseeing tour with a visit to the Rasmancha, a pyramidal structure that was used to host religious festivals. This structure is another great example of the unique architecture of Bishnupur.

5:00 PM - After a full day of sightseeing and shopping, it'll be time to start the return journey to Kolkata. You'll say goodbye to Bishnupur and start your journey back to the city.

8:00 PM - You'll arrive back at your hotel in Kolkata by 8:00 PM, marking the end of your full-day excursion to Bishnupur.
