Itinerary

9:00 AM

Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hyderabad in a comfortable air-conditioned car. After the pick-up, you will start your journey towards Warangal, which is approximately 150 km away.

11:30 AM

Arrive at Thousand Pillar Temple, which is located in Hanamkonda, a suburb of Warangal. This magnificent temple is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Warangal and is a masterpiece of Kakatiya architecture. The temple has three shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Surya, and is known for its stunning stone-carved pillars and intricate sculptures.
You will have approximately one hour to explore the temple, take photographs, and learn about its history and significance.

12:30 PM

Head to the Warangal Fort, which is just a 10-minute drive from the Thousand Pillar Temple. The fort was built during the Kakatiya dynasty and is an impressive example of medieval Indian architecture. The arch is made of red sandstone and has intricate carvings and sculptures that depict various scenes from Hindu mythology.
You will have approximately 30 minutes to admire the structure, take photographs, and learn about its history and significance.
