Itinerary
9:00 AM
Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hyderabad in a comfortable air-conditioned car. After the pick-up, you will start your journey towards Warangal, which is approximately 150 km away.
11:30 AM
Arrive at Thousand Pillar Temple, which is located in Hanamkonda, a suburb of Warangal. This magnificent temple is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Warangal and is a masterpiece of Kakatiya architecture. The temple has three shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Surya, and is known for its stunning stone-carved pillars and intricate sculptures.
You will have approximately one hour to explore the temple, take photographs, and learn about its history and significance.
12:30 PM
Head to the Warangal Fort, which is just a 10-minute drive from the Thousand Pillar Temple. The fort was built during the Kakatiya dynasty and is an impressive example of medieval Indian architecture. The fort complex includes several ancient structures, including the famous Khush Mahal, which is a beautiful palace with intricate carvings and exquisite stucco work, and the Shitabh Khan mosque, which is a fine example of Islamic architecture.
You will have approximately one hour to explore the fort, admire its stunning architecture, and learn about its history and significance.

Take a break for lunch nearby restaurant.

Drive to the Kakatiya Kala Thoranam, which is a magnificent arch that symbolizes the glory of the Kakatiya dynasty. The arch was built during the 12th century and is a fine example of the architectural style of the Kakatiya dynasty. The arch is made of red sandstone and has intricate carvings and sculptures that depict various scenes from Hindu mythology.
You will have approximately 30 minutes to admire the structure, take photographs, and learn about its history and significance.
3:00 PM
Start your journey back to Hyderabad. You can stop for some snacks or coffee on the way.
Your driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hyderabad, concluding your private day tour to Thousand Pillar Temple, Warangal Fort, and Kakatiya Kala Thoranam.
